THE SEVEN STAGES OF PROCESSINGGreat attention and care is given in each and every stage of our business, from the selection of the farm, to procurement, all the way to the processing of raw product and finally, to the point of delivery.

STAGE 1
1. THE BETELNUT FARM
Every single farm is carefully selected according to the type, quality and size of the betelnut desired. Photo is taken at location
2. FRESH BETELNUTS BEING SUN DRIED
The betelnut within awaits the husk to fully mature before the extraction of nut within.
STAGE 2
3. RIPE BETELNUTS SUN DRYING
The final stage of betelnut husk ripening reveals the pearl within. The betelnut is at the first stage of drying.
4. PARTIALLY DRIED BETELNUT READY FOR EXTRACTION
At this stage, the areca nut is still moist but ready to be extracted from the husk
STAGE 3
5. TOASTING IN THE TROPICAL SUN.
Once extracted, betelnuts are carefully placed in sun in the final stages of it’s maturity.
6. SUPARI DRYING AT THE FARM
Due to the tropical weather Thailand enjoys, an alternative means of drying the betelnuts is in a oven.
STAGE 4
7. BETELNUTS BEING DELIVERED FROM FARM
At this stage, trucks of betelnuts are being weighed at our own weighing station, before and after unloading in our warehouses.
8. STORED BETELNUTS AWAIT FURTHER PROCESSING
The dry betelnuts are kept in clean and airy environment. This process is critical as it allows the dry produce to breath before further processing.
9. Dried betelnuts aired out ready to be sorted
STAGE 5
10. THE SORTING BEGINS
Betelnuts are carefully hand selected by quality and size. Each and every stage of sorting is carefully executed. in order to provide our customers with the exact quality they are looking for.
11. BETELNUTS WHOLE BEING SORTED
Each and every peice is selected by hand. No machines for colour grading.
12. THE RESULTS
In this story, the beauty and beast do not unite. They are collected and taken for polishing.
STAGE 6
12. BETELNUTS BEING FILLED IN JUTE BAGS
Once the sorting process is completed, the betelnuts get packed in jute bags.
13. PACKED BETELNUTS BEING FUMIGATED
Before shipment, we fumigate the packed bags to meet the international health and safety standard.
14. PACKED BETELNUTS AWAITING SHIPMENT
After inspection, the betelnuts is ready to be shipped. This is the final stage before loading.
STAGE 7
15. BETELNUTS CARGO BEING LOADED INTO CONTAINER
The bags are carefully placed in the container
